
Kristin Swenson-Lintault, a painter whose works examine origins/connections, textile structures and natural forms integrates drawing/painting/printing using encaustic/mixed media. Her MFA 96' in Fiber/Textiles and BA 93' Studio Art at S. Illinois University, included residency in Scotland, Japan and S. Korea to study natural dyes, textile printing, washi, and anagama wood-fired ceramics. Her work has been exhibited in shows locally, nationally and Nakajo, Japan, and featured on the covers of "Translational Perspectives in Auditory Neuroscience" a textbook series by Tremblay/Burkard. Her work is included in the permanent collection at the Brooklyn Art Library and Museum of Encaustic Art in Santa Fe, NM. and exhibits work at the Encaustic Art Institute Gallery in Santa Fe. She oversees operations of five campus galleries, Art Dept. studios, multiple 2D/3D Resource Labs and a team of Studio Technicians as the Visual Arts Resource Manager at Cornish College of the Arts.
