Art + Design Program
Program Overview
The Cornish Young Artist Program in Art and Design is an exciting, three–week–long, intensive studio experience for students ages 13–18 who want to explore the visual arts in a professional art school setting. Students hone their skills, learn new techniques, and meet other students who share an interest in art.
Participants immerse themselves in art–making and become part of a creative community, meeting and working with other talented artists from diverse backgrounds. The Young Artist Program provides students with a perfect platform to expand their knowledge, grow as individuals, develop strong portfolio pieces, and get a taste of college life.
Each individual class meets twice per week for a three–hour session. The Full 5 Course Package meets five days a week for three weeks.
Session I, July 6 – 23 (Final Exhibition, Friday, July 23)
Session II, July 26 – August 13 (Final Exhibition, Friday, August 13)
